Yoyogi Park’s New Landmark: “Yoyogi Park BE STAGE” Now Open! – A Breath of Fresh Air in the City”
With Shibuya’s ongoing redevelopment, a new sports-themed facility has now opened. A consortium of four companies, including Tokyu Land Corporation, has opened the new park facility named “Yoyogi Park BE STAGE” as part of the “Yoyogi Park Park-PFI Project.” It began its sequential opening on March 15, 2025. This facility aims to be a new hub for urban and natural connection, themed around “a place where anyone can start a new challenge.”
“Be the One Who Starts” is the Concept, Now a Reality
The slogan of “Yoyogi Park BE STAGE” is “Be the one who starts.” The logo embodies the idea of supporting those who take the first step with the phrase, “Let’s give it a try.” Located in the Jinnan area, between Harajuku and Shibuya, it has already begun to inherit the culture of both areas while providing a place where anyone can easily take on new challenges.
A Space for Diverse Activities is Now Available
Within the facility, visitors can now enjoy a variety of activities, including urban sports like skateboarding and dance, running, yoga, food, music, art, and nature. It has begun to provide opportunities to start new habits that enrich urban life.
Diverse Facilities and Stores Promoting Interaction are Welcoming Guests
An event stage is set up in the center of the park, and events featuring art and sports are now being held. Additionally, an urban sports park is open outdoors, where visitors can enjoy skateboarding and other activities.
Tiki’s Grill & BarNew Balance
The facility houses a total of eight stores, including the popular Hawaiian restaurant “Tiki’s Grill & Bar,” a New Balance running hub, and a dance studio. It is now a place where people of all ages, from children to seniors, can interact through learning, sports, and dining.
Various Initiatives in Collaboration with the Park are Underway
“Yoyogi Park BE STAGE” is implementing various initiatives in collaboration with the park, such as beginner events for skateboarding and dance, music live performances, and yoga sessions.
