VANS Releases “Where is Waldo?” Collab Collection on March 12

For over 30 years, “Where’s Waldo?” series has given children a sense of fun and has continued to teach them the joy of attention to detail. Launched in 1987, this illustration book is introduced by adventurer Waldo, who is dressed in a unique style, traveling around the world. This collaboration is a homage to this classic series of footwear and apparel collections for a wide range of men, women and kids.

Waldo in a red and white striped shirt, beanie and blue jeans is a weird adventurer who can’t let go of the magic wand he trusts. He travels around the world, but often gets lost in the crowd. The reader has to find Waldo in the detailed illustrations.

In Classic Slip-On, the beach scene that appears in Waldo’s first book is drawn on the entire upper surface, and the red edging and blue foxing of the tongue part are reminiscent of Waldo’s clothes.
Vans brand debut, Authentic, appeared in the edition of Waldo’s hometown, Land of Waldos, featuring a famous scene as one of the most difficult Waldo hunts in history.

Old Skool and Sk8-Hi have a character motif color scheme. Old Skool has a red and white stripe that is also Waldo’s icon. Accented with laces on the outsole and question mark prints. On the other hand, Sk8-Hi has the coloring of Odrow, Waldo’s natural enemy, on the checkerboard, which is the icon pattern of Vans.

Illustrations of beach scenes will also appear in kids’ apparel. The blue body has large graphics so that you can actually find Waldo. The bright red snapback cap has an illustration of five main characters and an emblem with the text “I Found Waldo” on the front and back. Others The kids collection includes striped shirts with characters printed on them, and hoodies and Tee shirts designed with the brand catches of “I found Waldo” and “Off The Wall”.

The adult apparel lineup includes ringer T-shirts and caps with red accents on a white base featuring the Wizard of Whitebeard, and shirts and striped Tee with casual appearances of Waldo and the Wizard. Wizard and Waldo are waving hands in the shirt pocket, and Waldo is waving in the striped T-shirt pocket.

Dedicated to all who are adventurous and playful, the Vans x Where’s Waldo collection will be available at Vans Store stores, ABC-MART GRAND STAGE Online Store, ABC-MART GRAND STAGE stores and some ABC-MART stores on 3/12.
