An American amusement park in Japan Universal Studios Japan celebrated its 20th anniversary in March 2021 and offers a number of super-impressive and super-exciting experiences with the special theme of this year as “NO LIMIT!“. To celebrate its 20th anniversary of opening in Japan, USJ decided to collaborate with McDonald’s Japan who is also the 50th anniversary of opening of the first store in Japan.

In commemoration of each other’s anniversary year, Happy Set “Universal Studios Japan All Stars“, a summer-like toy that embodies “NO LIMIT!” that allows you to enjoy playing in the water at home with popular characters from the park, will go on sale on July 9 at McDonald’s Japan nationwide.

This collaboration came true by the desire to provide an exciting experience of summer at home where they could not enjoy leisure and outings with long-term state of emergency.

What you get in the Happy Set

The happy set “Universal Studios Japan All Stars” includes water guns and rotating water trucks with motifs of popular park characters such as Illumination Entertainment Minion, Universal Pictures Curious George, and Jurassic Park.

Social media promotion

In addition, “Universal Studios Japan All Stars Quiz & Sticker Picture Book” that you can enjoy while sticking stickers and solving quizzes will be available for a prize only on weekends, and you might be able to win “Studio Pass” of Universal Studios Japan on McDonald’s official social media.

Also, if you purchase “Universal Studios Japan All-Stars” for two days on July 10 and 11, you will receive “Universal Studios Japan All-Stars Quiz & Sticker Encyclopedia“. This playful picture book provides children and their families a good time together while pasting stickers of familiar characters to complete the picture book and solving quizzes about the park.

“Happy set” for kids includes hamburgers and Chicken McNugget®, side menus, drinks, toys or picture books or picture books. From January 2021, “edamame corn”, “yogurt”, and “side salad” were added as new side menu. It’s a popular promotion product with a variety of menus with more than 300 combinations such as vegetable juice and edamame corn to suit your taste, and fun toys, picture books, and picture books limited to McDonald’s.
