Evolved Tarako (cod roe) spaghetti specialty store Tokyo Tarako Spaghetti will open its 4th store outside of Tokyo in FOOD&TIME ISETAN YOKOHAMA on June 30.
Inviting ambience for women to come in by themselves
With the desire to support women who work hard, they aim to be a Japanese fast food restaurant where women can visit by themselves. Their Shibuya location opened in January 2020, Harajuku Omotesando location in July 2020, and Minami Ikebukuro in April 2022.
Healthy choice make of Tapioca flour
The Tarako spaghetti made from fresh tapioca flour is served with dashi stock, has attracted attention since the opening. And even now, more than three years after the first store opened, people still line up every day.
They hope that office workers or shopping crowd can enjoy their pasta during lunch time and dinner time with family and friends.
What We Tried at Yokohama Location
White Miso & Soy Milk Mentaiko Cream (¥1,199)
Soy milk simmered hot in an earthenware pot and a healthy cream of white miso are served with flat noodles that go down smoothly.
Shiokara & Mentaiko Spaghetti (¥979)
This is less than ¥1,000. The price is very reasonable. They enriched a classic Mentaiko spaghetti with Shiokara (salted pickled squid).
Mentaiko Salmon Soy Milk Cream (¥1,199)
They finished fragrantly grilled cod roe salmon in a rich flavor with white miso and soy milk cream sauce.
“Must-Try” Burdock Chocolate Monaka Ice Cream Exlusive to Yokomaha location
Don’t miss their exclusive item here ! In commemoration of the opening, they have a new item limited to the Yokohama location, “Burdock Chocolate Monaka Ice Cream”.
A unique scent resembling burdock soil and tree bark go well with the aroma of roasted cocoa, which is the raw material of chocolate. They added cacao nibs to accent the bitterness and texture, and sandwiched between monaka to create a sweet that blends Japanese and Western styles.
