Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO
“Tokyo Fashion Week” is a fashion festival held twice a year in the world’s top fashion cities. Each season Styles and trends are born from the latest collections that are unveiled at fashion shows and exhibitions held in Shibuya Hikarie and Omotesando Hills.
Cities most renowned for fashion weeks are New York, Paris, Milan, London and Tokyo. Due to their history and the amount of buzz surrounding them. These cities are regarded as having the most potential for disseminating information.
The five weeks of fashion are known to be the most influential time of the seasons in the fashion world. As of October’s 2020 S/S show, it is no longer Amazon fashion week. Tokyo fashion week is now “Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO”. It is hosted by the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFW Organization). Fashion Week is held twice a year in March and October.
Japan’s latest creations are showcased to the world October 14th-20th at Shibuya Hikarie and Omotesando Hills as well as other locations in Tokyo.
