Sushi Ebisu Tokyo Opened in Otsuka Norengai
On March 23, Sushi Ebisu, which staged cherry blossoms in full bloom, opened in Otsuka Norengai, Tokyo.
We are not fully allowed to enjoy cherry blossom viewing party outside under pandemic. So enjoy the cherry blossoms while eating sushi.
Who is Sushi Ebisu?
The sushi that started from “Nare Zushi” in the Edo period became popular as you can grab and eat at a concession like fast/street food.
Haya-zushi (currently nigiri sushi) was born as an impatient Edo people. The compatibility of wasabi and lees vinegar, and toppings made it very popular immediately.
“Sushi Ebisu” was born to connect the sushi culture in the Edo period to the future, such as price and spirituality.
For sushi vinegar, they use “black vinegar”, which goes above red vinegar and has a mild acidity of richness and material that goes well with sake.
Nigiri sushi made with black vinegar starts at ¥0.99 per piece! Extreme sushi that took a lot of effort is ¥299 per piece! The side menu averages about ¥299.

Shrimp Crab Battle ¥699 + tax
A limited number of fusions of extreme sushi and sushi rolls – red shrimp, the snow crab, yolk and Ikura on the shell of the crab. Grab a roll containing crab miso and yuzu and dip it in the fresh toppings.
Snow Crab Zanmai ¥299 + tax / piece
They packed all the good parts of crabs.
