Sogo Yokohama Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Kyushu Food Fair

Kyushu Food Fair Sogo Yokohama will start “Fall Great Kyushu Taste and Technique Fair” on October 20 for 8 days. About 50 local gourmet restaurants will participate in the event including Premium burger using Nagasaki’s rare Japanese black beef “Iki beef”, Meita quiche of “Fukuya”, and chestnuts cake Montblanc by Ron Pointe.

*Some products use ingredients outside of Kyushu and Okinawa.

[Nagasaki] “Pan Plus” / Iki Premium Burger ¥ 1,870 [50 pcs limited daily]

Patty with the taste of the premium “Iki Beef”. A voluminous burger sandwiched between grilled rice and cheese. * Takeout available.

[Fukuoka] Aji no mentaiko “Fukuya” / Mentai Quiche ¥306

A spicy and creamy gratin quiche made with mentaiko and cream cheese, only available at Fukuoka Airport. *Takeout available.

[Fukuoka] Rond Point / Japanese Chestnut Mont Blanc ¥540

A locally popular restaurant’s Fall limited Mont Blanc using Japanese chestnut.

Only one package for one person is a special item sold only on “Tenjin-sama’s Day” on the 25th of every month at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine.

There are also traditional craft products in the fair.

These are crystal glasses made by a glass studio Deshimaru in Kagoshima. The style of beautifully cut glasses is called “Satsuma Kiriko”. This 5 glass set is ¥165,000.
