Shizuoka Popular Ramen Popup “Shin Takuro Shoten” Opens In Ikebukuro!
“Shin Takuro Shoten“, who participated in one of the largest ramen festivals in Japan “Tokyo Ramen Show“, will soon open in Ikebukuro, Tokyo for a limited time.
They have proved the competitiveness of “Shizuoka Ramen” in many ramen events nationwide. Each time when they joined Tokyo Ramen Show, they came up with the creative menu using local ingredients and drew a lot of attention.
The ramen shop will open as a popup on April 16.
Their history
Founded in August 2004 as “Menya Takuro Shoten” in Shimizu, Shizuoka, they’ve been known for a pioneer of “Tanrei” (light and refreshing) style. They became popular in Shizuoka.
The ramen shop moved to the current Numazu location in November 2008. Then they changed the name to “Shin Takuro Shoten” in August 2020. This is their first location in Tokyo.
Menu
For the new Tokyo popup location, they created a special menu using local ingredients based on the popular “Tanrei” soup: Salt ramen using “Suruga Bay spider crab” and Shoyu (soy sauce) ramen using “Gotemba chicken”.

The world’s largest crab, the king of the crab “Spider Crab”, inhabits Suruga Bay in Shizuoka, the deepest sea in Japan! The salt ramen, which uses abundant high-class spider crab and umami migratory crab, makes the best use of the flavor of the ingredients offers richness, umami and aroma!
Gotemba Jidori Chicken Premium Shoyu ramen

Using Shizuoka Gotemba chicken “Taiyo Chicken” and Gotemba’s shoyu brewery “Amano Shoyu”, the combination of the strong flavor of the local chicken and the thick soy sauce that has been re-prepared is simple but deep.
