Perfect place to try old and new Japanese sweets
Seibu Ikebukuro Department Store will hold the “4th Annual Midsummer Sweets Festival” starting on August 21 through 31.
“Shinkakai” which is consist of six well-established Japanese sweets companies will introduce a bright jelly-drink. Additional 48 brands of Japanese sweets and cold sweets will appear at the event as well.
In order to enjoy not only taking it home but also at the venue, they will take infection prevention measures inside the venue and set up a dedicated dine-in section.
3 kinds of limited jelly drinks from a long-established Japanese sweets shop
A teahouse operated by Shikakai will offer three types of jelly latte with a smooth texture.
Blue is butterfly pea tea, green is Mie Prefcture’s matcha green tea, and red is Mie’s Japanese black tea.
