Japan limited edition also available
Onitsuka Tiger will launch limited collab sneakers, appeared on Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2020 Men’s Collection today, July 17th. In addition to the color variations announced at Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2020 men’s collection on January 15 in Paris, limited edition colors will be available only in Japan.
The collaboration between Valentino and Onitsuka Tiger created a limited edition model that was reinterpreted by Valentino’s creative director Pierre Paolo Piccioli to recreate the icon model “MEXICO 66™ SD” of Onitsuka Tiger. The boldly designed Valentino V logo is printed by hand on the Onitsuka Tiger stripe on the outside of the upper.
The tongue uses a special label with the logo of both brands created for this collaboration, and the brand logo of both parties is also designed on the insole. This model uses a material with excellent cushioning properties on the heel of the midsole, and has adopted a unique material with excellent durability and grip for the outer sole.
The color variations announced at Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2020 Paris Men’s Collection are the basic “WHITE-White” that appeared on the runway, and the bright neon colors “SHOCKING ORANGE-Shocking Orange”, “SAFETY YELLOW-Safety Yellow” and “HOT”.
All four colors of “Pink-Hot Pink” will be available at some of Valentino’s stores worldwide and directly at our official online stores. In Japan, these retailers carry these models: Valentino Ginza, Omotesando, Hankyu Umeda, Hankyu Men’s Osaka, Matsuzakaya Nagoya, Fukuoka Iwataya, and official online stores.
The limited model “WHITE/DIRECTOIRE BLUE-White x Directoir Blue” of “Onitsuka Tiger brand icon” “Tricolor” will be available at Onitsuka Tiger Omotesando, Ginza, Namba and the official online store.

It is available only at Valentino Ginza, Omotesando, Hankyu Umeda, Hankyu Men’s Osaka, Matsuzakaya Nagoya, Fukuoka Iwataya, official online store, Onitsuka Tiger Omotesando, official online store. The profit of Japan-only colors will go to KDO, which is an NPO that supports child-rearing families in distress.
This product was launched today, July 17, for ¥58,000 (excluding tax).
