Yoka Corporation Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, Representative Director: Kazuo Nishida) has launched “Amavier Bread” at their bakery brand “Briant” on May 22.
What is Amavier?
“Amavier” is Youkai – monster- that appeared in Kumamoto Prefecture in the latter part of the Edo period and is said to be beneficial for driving off disease.
In order to realize the word “show me my figure to people” in the legend. The company has made improvements and reproduced the figure of Amavier, which is hard to shape.
Due to the characteristics of the bread, there is variation (individuality) in the baking.
The hair is a candy bread dough containing strawberry powder. The scales are made of pastry dough and chocolate. The eyes are sugar and chocolate. And finally, it has a chocolate cream filling.
