Top-quality Wagyu burger you can enjoy at casual dining
KABUKI BURGER & TACOS Is Now Open!
KABUKI BURGER & TACOS Is Now Open!
Last time when we helped Raina Huang do some food challenges, Mr. Roboto had a chance to eat “Shogun Burger” in Shinjuku. And now another burger restaurant opened nearby on April 14.
And it’s called Kabuki Burger & Tacos. It’s owned by Eatopia Co. which operates popular Japanese restaurants like “Ginza Yamashina” and “Nostalgic Michiba”. So the company has been managing mainly in the fine dining business. One of them is an aged meat steak restaurant “Nakasei” which has been awarded Michelin stars for 7 consecutive years.
And “Kabuki Burger & Tacos” is more of a casual burger restaurant but uses meat connoisseur, cooking, and seasoning techniques from Ginza Yamashina. In collaboration with Chef Fumio Yonezawa, customers can enjoy Wagyu hamburgers and tacos there.

The impressions I got and their future plan
Overall, the food was great! In the new property development in Kabukicho, it’s conveniently located close to the Seibu Shinjuku station. And the restaurant has some great interior and exterior looks: the modern design with some traditional touches and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors; and the vaulted ceiling give the space a sense of being bigger than it actually is.
The restaurant transitions to more of a bar or club after certain hours with live DJs and cocktails. And they will add outdoor dining for couples or larger groups down the road.
