HIBIYA CINEMA FESTIVAL 2022 Set For This October
Tokyo Midtown Hibiya will hold the “HIBIYA CINEMA FESTIVAL 2022” from October 14 through 23, which offers various “new ways to enjoy movies” based on the concept of “experience film festival starting from Hibiya”.
Approximately 3.8 million people have visited over the past four years. And the theme for this year’s fifth edition is “enthusiasm.”
So, in the event, they will provide an exciting experience where you can enjoy movies with your family and friends while feeling the autumn breeze.
In addition, the “35th Tokyo International Film Festival” will follow after the event in the Hibiya, Yurakucho, Marunouchi and Ginza from October 24 through November 2.

Nightime: The 4th Toronto Japanese Film Festival in Hibiya
This is the 4th event this year. In addition to the nominated films from the Toronto Japanese Film Festival held in Canada in June, they will screen popular original movies from the past.
Director Tetsuo Shinohara and director Non will be on stage!
Before the screening, the director will be on stage to reveal the secret story behind the filming! This year, the director of the youth movie “Inubu!” “Tetsuo Shinohara” and director “Non” of the first feature film “Ribbon” will be on stage for a talk session!
