Haneda Mirai Development Co., Ltd. (9 investment companies) will open a large-scale complex “HANEDA INNOVATION CITY” (HICity), which is directly connected to Tenkuhashi Station in the 1st zone maintenance project for the former site of Haneda Airport on July 3.
The scheduled pening event will be postponed to September.
Overview
HICity is a town developed by Haneda Mirai Development Co., Ltd. and Ota Ward in collaboration with the public and private sectors, and has two core industries, “advanced” and “culture”. Adjacent to Haneda Airport, they will promote the future-oriented town development that creates and transmits new experiences and values by making the most of the location that is superior for information transmission both inside and outside Japan.
Common space including innovation corridor and footbath sky deck
The innovation corridor that connects the HICity buildings is based on the planting of a Japanese garden, adds modern and modern art elements to the Hanafuda design, and features a “Hanatoro” that plays the sounds of the four seasons of Japan.
In addition, the footbath sky deck is located on the rooftop and you can enjoy a superb view of Haneda Airport. By changing plants in each season, and changing the lighting and sound by each event, it offer the beauty of the four seasons and culture of Japan to those who visit HICity.
