Filipino Christmas Dessert Promotion Going on Through December 31
I really love Filipino dessert like Halo Halo, Bibingka, and much more. My Filipino friends in the US make me great sweets !
The Philippine Ministry of Tourism / Embassy is promoting “Let’s enjoy the Pilipino Christmas dessert!” campaign with Tony Roma’s Roppongi store and Hard Rock Cafe Tokyo. This is a project for visitors who want to go to the Philippines as well as Pilipinos who want to go visit their family but can’t go now to enjoy the taste of the Philippines in Tokyo.
They are currently offering Christmas desserts that Filipinos love through December 31, 2021.
And the international organizations Japan ASEAN Center and Cebu Pacific Air take part in this project as a part of the “65th Anniversary of Normalization of Diplomatic Relations” event between Japan and the Philippines.

SALTED CARAMEL BIKO
Mochi desserts that people in Philippines eat for celebrations. Hard Rock Cafe added banana and vanilla ice cream as toppings. eUbe ice cream and gold leaf are topped on a cake made from purple potatoes, which is very popular in the Philippines. Enjoy the gorgeous visuals of the holiday season and the compatibility with coconut sauce.njoy with salted caramel sauce.
COCONUT UBE CAKE
Ube cake topped with Ube ice cream and gold flake. Ube is getting popular in Japan as well. The coconut sauce accents the rich flavor.
COCONUT BIBINGKA
The popular dessert “Bibingka” in the Philippines is arranged in Tony Roma’s style. A typical Philippine Christmas dessert with roasted coconut and mango sauce, served with ube (purple potato) and pistachio ice cream.
