Fendi collaborates with “Fragment” led by Hiroshi Fujiwara!
LVMH group brand Fendi collaborates with “Fragment” led by Hiroshi Fujiwara!
The first time I met Hiroshi Fujiwara was in London in 1999. What should I say? He is one of my idols and I really love him. Fujiwara is a member of the Japanese club scene. He sparked the youth fashion scene and streetwear. I have always loved Japan and its influence is immeasurable. Hiroshi Fujiwara plays a big part in that.
-Kim Jones, Artistic Director, Fendi Couture and Womenswear
The shape of the Fendi bag is the logo itself and emblematic of the house, while the craftsmanship of Fendi is another important element that symbolizes us. I don’t want to be too sacred, and I decided to elevate it in a new way! That is to experience the living history that Hiroshi Fujiwara has added to Fragment and Pokémon. They reinterpreted the handbag and turned it into a small, pop-like monument.

Friends of Fendi
Friends of Fendi is a series of projects and collections promoted by Kim Jones and Sylvia Fendi. It transcends the fashion industry’s common understanding and believes in authenticity over strategy. Also it focus on the concept of true friendship.
It is no exaggeration to say that Hiroshi Fujiwara’s creativity, which combines multiple means of expression, from fashion to music, art, sports shoes, and product design, and his pioneering multimodality, have shaped the current state of global fashion. He made himself known as the “Godfather of Streetwear”. And the products he works on, no matter what field they are in, gain huge popularity.
When Kim asked me to work on a project with her, I never said no.It was a great honor to work with Kim again, and now with Sylvia. Fendi is a traditional brand. I was lucky to gain the freedom to do what I wanted to do in a historical environment, and I am grateful for that.
―Hiroshi Fujiwara
Both an intervention and a means of reform…. At FENDI x FRGMT, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment deftly and playfully steps into the world of Fendi.
Expanding to a special collection with dragon type Pokemon
Furthermore, in conjunction with the Year of the Dragon in 2024, “FENDI x FRGMT x POKÉMON” will demonstrate its presence through collaboration with the game and anime brand, or the globally iconic Pokemon, which you can describe as a “phenomenon”, with an added twist. And this time, they will further expand the world with a collection that spotlights the dragon-type Pokemon, “Cailyu”, “Hakuryu”, and “Miniryu”.
