Customizable Tokyo Mix Curry Expands To Dine-In Restaurant
“TOKYO MIX CURRY” ‘s first dine-in restaurant is now open in “KITTE Marunouchi” by Tokyo Station.
Background of Opening
Immediately after the start of business in 2019, TOKYO MIX CURRY was affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. And since then, they have been operating with app-based customized orders and cashless payment. Also, they cater to office workers nearby for takeout orders on weekdays.
Since the opening, their orders exceeded 300,000. And they have started to receive comments like “I want to eat relaxed in the store” and “I want to eat curry while drinking at night”.
Finally, they opened their first dine-in restaurant on June 14. On weekdays, order from the app. Then you will get your curry without waiting time. Also at night and on weekends, they will serve a special curry exclusive to the KITTE Marunouchi location.
Core Ingredients
The reason why their currys are so good is the core ingredients. For the curry base, they use Hokkaido onion, Mediterranean tomato, and spices from all over the world. And their “umami” comes from “dashi” – soup stock from chicken bone and fish powder. Also, they add orange, lemon, and coconut juice to spice up the flavor.
And they use 7 spices – cilantro, paprika, red chili, cardamom, turmeric, cumin, and fennel.
Kitte Marunouchi Exclusive Curry
They offer a special menu all day on weekday nights and weekends.
Some examples are Kuroge Wagyu beef chunk beef curry, Azumino Genki pork braised curry, and bone-in chicken curry.

Ok, let’s order! Pick your base curry that includes Tomato chicken curry, keema curry, salad, limited-time menu (chicken rice, etc.). Then pick whatever toppings you would like to add to your curry. Add-ons are Pork Keema, beans, pickled eggs, shredded carrot, coleslaw, etc. Drinks and snacks including alcohol are also available at dinnertime.
We had Chicken Curry and Keema Curry. And of course, we added some toppings.
The great thing is the app is in English too!
