AIRDO Launches Specially Designed “Rokon Jet Hokkaido” On December 1

Great news for Pokemon fans!

Hokkaido, Pokemon Co., Ltd., and AIRDO Co., Ltd. will launch specially designed AIRDO aircraft “Rokon Jet Hokkaido” to revamp tourism through a comprehensive agreement on December 1.

*Vulpix refers to Rokon in Japan.

Overview of Rokon Jet Hokkaido

Aircraft: Boeing 767-300ER (number: JA607A)
Service routes: Tokyo (Haneda) = Sapporo (Shin Chitose), Asahikawa, Hakodate, etc
*Routes and flight numbers will be announced on the special website on November 30
Service period: December 1, 2021 (Wednesday) – about 5 years

Purpose of the project

Pokemon Co., Ltd. is working together with Hokkaido using Arora Vulpix and Vulpix to revitalize Hokkaido. So this Pokemon aircraft is a part of their projects.

Design concept

AIRDO’s Boeing 767 aircraft has Vulpix on the right and Arora Vulpix on the left side. It’s an asymmetrical design drawn with AIRDO’s corporate colors Yellow and Blue.

Aircraft amenities, in-flight services, merches

The headrest cover of the seat has Vulpix drawings. The left and right seats have relaxing Vulpix, and the middle seat has both Vulpix. And, based on the Pokédex number of Vulpix, 37th row has the same design as the middle seat.

At the time of drink service, the flight attendants will wear the original apron and serve it in the original paper cup.

In addition, they will prepare postcards and stickers on board exclusively for Vulpix Jet and distribute them to customers as needed.
